Samsung is set to unveil an array of products, such as TVs, gaming monitors, foldable gadgets, audio equipment, and a growing suite of AI-driven appliances, positioning itself as a leading exhibitor at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026. This year’s CES will take place from January 6 to 9 in Las Vegas.
In the lead-up to CES, Samsung has issued a steady stream of announcements outlining what the tech giant plans to showcase, signalling that the company intends to use the event to underline both its hardware ambitions and its long-term AI strategy. Adding to the scale of its plans, Samsung has built a new, standalone exhibition space at The Wynn, designed specifically to demonstrate how Artificial Intelligence fits across its growing lineup of consumer devices.
New-gen TVs
A new generation of televisions based on Micro RGB technology is one of the major hardware announcements anticipated at CES 2026. With screen sizes ranging from 55 inches to an enormous 115 inches, Samsung has confirmed that it will expand this lineup. The technology is promoted as a potential alternative to OLED, providing comparable image quality while aiming for lower prices. The move reflects Samsung’s continued attempts to transform the market for premium TVs while providing consumers with additional choices.
Gaming monitors
Gaming monitors are anticipated to be highlighted prominently during the CES. Samsung typically utilises CES to unveil new items in its Odyssey monitor lineup, and this year is no different. The firm is poised to launch its 2026 Odyssey series, featuring what it asserts is the globe’s first 6K glasses-free 3D gaming display. Additional models anticipated for the event feature ultra-high-refresh-rate screens, including a monitor that can achieve 1,040Hz, along with new 5K, 6K, and OLED choices designed for competitive gamers and enthusiasts. Foldable smartphones are another area drawing attention ahead of the show. Samsung’s first tri-folding handset, introduced late last year, is expected to be on display, offering many attendees their first hands-on look at the device. While additional foldable phones are rumoured to be in development, including models with new aspect ratios, those are more likely to appear as display concepts from Samsung Display rather than full product launches.
Audio products
Audio products will also feature prominently. Samsung is preparing to introduce new Q-series soundbars, along with a pair of WiFi-enabled speakers dubbed the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7. Designed with aesthetics as much as performance in mind, the speakers feature a distinctive ‘dot’ design created in collaboration with designer Erwan Bouroullec, and support high-resolution audio alongside Samsung’s AI-driven sound enhancements.
Artificial Intelligence
Overarching all of these product categories is Samsung’s increasing emphasis on Artificial Intelligence. The company has said CES 2026 will serve as a platform to present a unified AI strategy across its Device eXperience division. That vision extends beyond entertainment hardware into the home, with Samsung planning to reveal a new range of AI-connected appliances, including smart laundry systems, air conditioners, garment care devices, and robotic cleaners.
Samsung is also working more closely with Google to integrate Gemini-powered features into several of its home products, such as refrigerators and wine cellars equipped with smart displays. These announcements indicate that AI will significantly influence the majority of Samsung products in the future, changing the way consumers engage with their homes.
