Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema. In its 30-day theatrical run, the film has dominated the box office and continues to attract new audiences. Recently, Tamil actor Suriya Sivakumar praised the Aditya Dhar directorial, calling it a masterpiece. He also lauded the performances of R Madhavan and Ranveer Singh in the spy actioner.
Taking to X, Suriya wrote, “Thank you @AdityaDharFilms for giving this masterpiece. Dhurandhar, what a movie! Completely blown by your craft… love & respect to you and the whole team. Special congrats to my bro R Madhavan– what a transformation! Akshay Khanna & Ranveer Singh, congrats on a very deserving blockbuster! Love Suriya & Jo.” Responding to Suriya's praise, Dhurandhar director Aditya Dhar wrote, “Grateful beyond words, Suriya sir. Your love and encouragement mean everything to us. Deeply honoured and inspired. Much love and respect to you and Ma’am.”

R Madhavan reacts to Suriya's praise on Dhurandhar
In his post, Suriya had also praised actor R Madhavan, who plays the role of Ajay Sanyal in Dhurandhar. Reacting to Suriya’s words of appreciation, the actor wrote, “Wow Brother, this means the world to me coming from you and Jo. How gracious large hearted and sweet of you. All the love right back at you, brother, can’t wait to see your movies coming up. God bless you and thank God for you both.”

Shiva Rajkumar also recently praised Ranveer Singh’s performance in Dhurandhar. At the press conference of his film 45, the Kannada star called the film ’emotionally strong’ and said, “The emotions were fantastic, the making was very good, and every actor has performed exceptionally well. Akshaye Khanna’s role had a certain freedom where he could explore different shades of his character. Ranveer Singh’s character, on the other hand, demanded a lot of subtlety, which is not easy to pull off. He handled it brilliantly and beautifully.”
Dhurandhar box office
As per the latest data, Dhurandhar has earned Rs 1182.25 crore globally. In India, the film has collected Rs 806.80 crore. On Sunday, Jio Studios shared a post on X, celebrating Dhurandhar’s historic box office run. It read, “Dhurandhar routine: Wake up. Make records. Repeat.” The production house announced that the Ranveer Singh film has set a new all-time record for Hindi cinema, with collections reaching Rs 806.80 crore in India (NBOC).
