Sanjay Dutt is known for his love for cars and after making headlines with his role as SP Chaudhary Aslam in Dhurandhar, he is once again grabbing attention for his new vehicle. Recently, videos of the actor driving a Tesla Cybertruck in Mumbai went viral on social media. A Tesla Cybertruck is a rare sight on Indian streets.
According to Moneycontrol, Sanjay might have imported the vehicle from Dubai, as suggested by its license plate and the driving gear being positioned on the left side. In India, vehicles have right-side driving gear. The website further stated that the vehicle may have been imported under a Carnet permit, which allows individuals to temporarily bring and operate vehicles from other countries in India. The permit allows them to bring the vehicle for a period of six months without paying customs duties. It is also worth noting that Tesla has not yet announced official pricing or a launch timeline for the Tesla Cybertruck in India.
In the US, the Tesla Cybertruck costs around $80,000 (Rs 72 lakh INR), with premium models priced higher. The Tesla Cybertruck is known for its unique design and strong build. It boasts an almost bulletproof body and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds. Hollywood A-listers such as Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams and others also own the Tesla Cybertruck.
