Rajinikanth says Dharmendra had a ‘golden heart’; Bollywood legend’s old post of their hilarious movie scene goes viral | Bollywood News

The demise of legendary actor Dharmendra marks the end of an illustrious era in Indian cinema, during which audiences were constantly enthralled by the charm and elegance of Bollywood’s ‘He-Man.’ One of the most successful actors the industry has ever seen, Dharmendra, 89, appeared in more than 300 movies over a span of six decades.

An outsider with no prior connection to the film industry, Dharmendra stepped into the world of cinema after winning a talent hunt organised by a film magazine. In 1960, at the age of 25, he made his debut in director Arjun Hingorani’s Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere. Over the years, Dharmendra headlined several notable films and shared the screen with some of the biggest names in Indian cinema, including 'Superstar' Rajinikanth.

Back in 2021, Dharmendra had shared a hilarious scene from Insaaf Kaun Karega featuring the two of them on social media. The 1.21-minute clip begins by showing Dharmendra sitting inside a lorry and Rajinikanth standing below, near the driver’s door. As a war of words ensues between them, Rajinikanth says, “I learn Kung Fu, Karate. What do you think? (I know Kung Fu, Karate, etc. What do you know?)” Hearing this, Dharmendra replies, “You have come here for me too.” Just when we think they are about to fight, the two share a warm hug, implying that all this was in jest.
