Rajat Bedi addresses rumours about being a part of Krrish 4: ‘The audience wants to see me and Hrithik Roshan back together’ | Bollywood News

Actor Rajat Bedi made his Bollywood comeback with Aryan Khan’s debut series, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. Following the success of the Netflix show, Rajat is now rumored to be part of Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 4. In an exclusive conversation with SCREEN, the actor addressed the ongoing rumors and spoke about his bond with the Roshan family.

Talking about being a part of Krrish 4, Rajat Bedi said, “If that happens, nothing like it. The audience wants to see me and Hrithik back together. I am just praying that it happens soon.”

He added, “I love and respect Rakeshji and Hrithik a lot. Today, Hrithik is an icon; there is nobody like him. He is a complete actor. We keep meeting, and our families know each other well. It has been some time since I met Rakeshji. I will meet him soon. Whenever he meets me, there is a lot of regard, love, and affection. I have worked with him as well, but the media converted my conversation with Mukesh Khanna into me saying something against Rakeshji and Hrithik, which is wrong. I love the industry; we are like a family. Bollywood is a small industry; we don’t pull down each other.”

Earlier, in an interview with Mukesh Khanna, Rajat Bedi was reported to have blamed certain prominent Bollywood figures for his decision to leave the industry. However, clarifying that it was all wrong information, Rajat said, “People took that conversation about Rakeshji in the wrong intention. My interview was about why I went to Canada, where I said I was disappointed since things were not working out. I was not able to make money, so I took a break and decided to migrate to Canada.”

Rajat even opened up about his financial setbacks. He said, “Financial setbacks have been a big challenge for me because they were consistent. When I was in the film line, there were also financial challenges. You would work and not get paid; whatever you were paid also would not be delivered to you because producers would go through challenges. Everyone wants to grow in their field. Unfortunately, in this industry, until your film works, you don’t get to climb the next step. You are still pushing, struggling for that day to come. My day never came, even after having blockbusters, somehow I didn’t get the due. Name and recognition were there, but it was never converted to work or more money, because somebody else would take the credit. It was a phase, I was destined to see struggles, so I did.”

In 2012, Rajat Bedi moved to Canada with his family, where he later ventured into the real estate business. However, he soon fell victim to financial fraud by a business partner and had to rebuild everything from scratch. In 2018, he was defrauded once again by his business associates, leading to a legal battle. As of now, Rajat Bedi has not announced his next project following The Ba***ds of Bollywood.
