Comedian Samay Raina made headlines after he attended the premiere of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s directorial debut show The B***ads of Bollywood wearing a T-shirt with a cheeky slogan that read, “Say No To Cruise.” The slogan was a reference to Aryan Khan’s arrest in a 2021 drug case, where he was picked up by NCB officials during a cruise party. Now, The Bads of Bollywood actor Raghav Juyal has shared how Aryan reacted after seeing Samay’s T-shirt at the premiere.
Speaking to Ranveer Allahbadia, Raghav laughed and said, “Yeh t-shirt pehen ke waha par pohcha huwa hai. Aur log has rahe hai, aryan has raha hai, sab has rahe hai. Woh kar sakta hai, woh toh aisa hi hai na. Hum nahi kar sakte na. Pure party me aise hi ghum raha tha, t-shirt dikha dikha ke, sabko (He showed up there wearing that T-shirt, and everyone is laughing! Aryan’s laughing, the crowd’s laughing, the whole place is cracking up. But of course, he can pull it off, that’s just the kind of person he is. We couldn’t do that even if we tried).”
Raghav recalled how Samay was showing off the T-shirt to everyone at the premiere. “He was roaming around the entire party flaunting that T-shirt proudly, showing it off to everyone. Sabke samne aise hi dikha raha hai yeh aadmi (He was doing that right in front of everyone).”

When asked how Shah Rukh reacted to it, Raghav revealed that even SRK couldn’t stop laughing about it. He said, “Sir ke liye toh sabhi bachche hai na yaar, sir treats everyone like a beta (You know, for Sir, everyone’s like his own kid. He treats them all like his son).”
Not just Samay, even Aryan himself took a dig at his past arrest in the show. In one scene, a character resembling former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede — who arrested Aryan in 2021 — is shown arriving at a Bollywood party and arresting a movie star without any solid evidence.
Following the release of the show and Aryan’s apparent dig, Sameer Wankhede moved the Delhi High Court with a defamation suit seeking an injunction and damages for the “misleading” and “negative” portrayal of anti-drug enforcement agencies in the series. He filed the suit against Shah Rukh Khan’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, Netflix, and others, also seeking an award of Rs 2 crore in damages to be donated to Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital for the treatment of cancer patients.
