The 2016 photo-sharing trend has reached global star and desi girl Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who recently revisited some of her most cherished memories from a decade ago. Sharing a carousel of throwback pictures, Priyanka captioned the post, “The one where everything happened all at once. 2016.”

The photos quickly caught fans’ attentioncapturing a year that proved to be both personally and professionally transformative for the actor.

One of the highlights from 2016 was Priyanka receiving the Padma Shri, one of India’s highest civilian honours, recognising her contribution to the arts. The post also featured milestones such as her first-ever appearance at the Oscars, marking her grand entry onto the global stage, and a memorable dinner with former US President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama.

The carousel reflected her flourishing career across industries, with stills from Bajirao Mastani and Dil Dhadakne Do alongside scenes from her Hollywood projects Quantico and Baywatch. Priyanka also shared glimpses of her personal life, including moments from Holi celebrations, adopting a dog, and a touching photo with her late grandmother.

Celebrities and fans flooded the comments section with praise. Priyanka’s manager Anjula Acharia wrote, “So many memories!” while Dia Mirza called her “Queeeeeeeen 🔥”. Saba Pataudi commented, “Gorgeous and proud ✨❤️👑,” and Bhumi Pednekar addressed her as “Queen 🙌”. Fans too hailed her achievements, calling her an inspiration.

In the other news, Priyanka Chopra also shared a video on Instagram in which she is seen enjoying a serene boat ride with her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti. She captioned the clip, “What’s your favourite place? Sound 🔊, and audio is, “What’s your favourite place? I don’t have a favourite place. I have my favourite people and whenever I’m with my favourite people, that place becomes my favourite.”

On the work front, Priyanka will next be seen in the pirate film The Bluff, where she plays a fierce character named Bloody Mary. The film is set to stream on Prime Video from February 25. She is also gearing up for her return to Indian cinema after eight years with SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi, starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, slated for a January 2027 theatrical release.
