Mika Singh says people assume he would ‘dance with 20 girls’ and ‘throw money’; reveals smart investments that helped him own 99 houses: ‘Zameen dhokha nahi deti’ | Bollywood News

Mika Singh is a proud owner of 99 houses and a 100-acre farm. The singer has always been an advocate of smart financial planning and investing in long-term real estate over luxury expenses. In an earlier interview, he had also revealed that his 99th house was designed by Gauri Khan, superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s wife. In a recent interaction, Mika opened up about investing in land and urged his fellow singers to spend their hard-earned money wisely.

During a conversation with Galatta Indiahe shared, “I have made 99 houses — some are small, some are big, some are expensive, and some are in the village. It’s not about that; it’s about how many assets you have. Many people love me, but there are also many people who abuse me, saying, ‘He is mad, not even married, who will handle everything?’ They keep saying all this.”

The singer added, “We are farmers’ kids. We didn’t even know what to do with the money or where to spend it. We knew only one thing — ‘you should be a landlord’. Dadaji also used to say, ‘Zameen kabhi aapko dhokha nahi deti (Land will never betray you)’. We earned so much money in life and only knew that we should invest in properties.”

He expressed that, although his public image suggests he wastes money on luxuries, that isn’t the case. “Whatever we saved, we kept making properties. The best part about buying a property is that you aren’t burnig your savings. You want Mika Singh to dance with 20 girls around him, and throw money on them here and there, then you will enjoy it. ‘How is he making 99 houses?’ It just means that you have a safe thing in life, everyone should have it in life,” he said.

He continued, “I am not the only one who is rich or special, there are many singers in the industry who have a lot of money. Vo bechaare bas gucci vucci pehnte rehte hain (they keep spending money on brands like Gucci). They keep wandering on chartered planes without any reason. You can save a lot of money, savings are important. Spend the money, but don’t burn it completely. That’s stupidity!”

Mika Singh also revealed that he has been on his own since more than three decades now. “Whatever assets that I have made today, I did it on my own. There was no one to guide me since the very beginning. I have been living alone since the last 30 years. I am attached to Daler paajiI take advices from him in my songs, but not in life. I kept growing and learning with my own wisdom,” he revealed.

Talking about his current residence, he shared, “This house is really good, I bought it during Covid. We weren’t able to go out to record or shoot. Hence, I thought that there should be a space like this, in case something of that sort happens again. You should have a place to shoot, talk to your friends, and even record. This whole place is a jamming session, it becomes disco themed at night, a party hall.”
