Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff and Geeta Basra met legendary footballer Lionel Messi in Mumbai on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, Kareena Kapoor and her children, Taimur and Jeh, along with Geeta Basra and her family, met Messi at an event hosted at the Cricket Club of India (CCI). Later in the evening, Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff met the footballer at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
In videos from the event at the CCI, Kareena Kapoor and her sons, Jeh and Taimur, were seen all smiles as they posed with Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, and Rodrigo De Paul. For the outing, Kareena wore a khaki-brown coat with embroidered elephants along the sides, paired with a matching midi skirt. Jeh and Taimur, meanwhile, looked adorable in Argentina jerseys.

After meeting Lionel Messi, Geeta Basra took to Instagram to share photos and videos from the meet-and-greet. She captioned the post, “G.O.A.T @leomessi 🙏⚽️ 🇮🇳 and standing with our G.O.A.T 🏏 🇮🇳 @harbhajan3 .. ❤️ Thank you @satadrutravel and #CCI Mumbai for making this possible. Well done @mumbaipolice for such a smooth event 🙌.”

Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff, meanwhile, met Lionel Messi at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In videos from the meet-and-greet, the two actors are seen greeting Messi on the field and engaging in a brief conversation with him.

Not just Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, and Geeta Basra, even Shah Rukh Khan met Lionel Messi. During the controversial Kolkata leg of the GOAT Tour of India 2025 on Saturday, Shah Rukh and his son AbRam Khan attended a special meet-and-greet session with the football icon.
