A day after Sunita Ahuja revealed that 2025 had been a “disastrous” year for her due to constant rumours about Govinda’s alleged affair, the Hero No 1 actor has finally broken his silence. Govinda has now claimed that the controversy could be part of a long-running conspiracy against him, one in which family members are allegedly being used without their knowledge.
Speaking to ANI, Govinda said, “I never go against the women of my house—this includes my mother as well as my mother-in-law. My wife has started her own YouTube channel, where she shares all kinds of opinions.”
He added, “A friend of mine had told me that there has been a conspiracy against you for a very long time. I kept quiet for over 15 years, thinking it must be my stars. I believe in prayers and spirituality. But when these things stay forever, it means someone is doing it on you. Sometimes, the family comes under the influence of someone’s well-planned conspiracy. Not everyone is Govinda.”
Govinda also expressed disappointment over recent developments, saying, “Sunita is well educated. She never uses foul language. But what I have been seeing in the last few days—just because I don’t break my silence or comment on these things—people think I am weak or maybe cruel for real. This is why I am finally answering. I was told that your family members will be used in this conspiracy against you without their knowledge.”

What did Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja say?
In her interview with Miss Malini, Sunita Ahuja shared, “The year 2025 was a disaster for me. My family life was disrupted. I was hearing things about Govinda. I was not happy with the things I was hearing about him. There is an age to do certain things and at 63 to hear these things, it is not good, especially when your kids are grown up. In 2026, I just hope bhagwan Govinda ko sadbuddhi de. He must understand that family is family, and when you are in trouble, nobody stands beside you. They are only there for money. Once you stop giving the money, they will go.”
She also accused her husband of not supporting their son Yash’s Bollywood aspirations. Sunita said, “Yash is a self-made boy. He hasn’t taken help from his father. He has given 90 auditions, being Govinda’s son. He didn’t ask Govinda to call anyone. Govinda also never helped Yash. I told Govinda on his face ‘tu baap hai ki kya hai if you won’t help our kids, who will?’ See Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, how they all are supporting their sons. I told Govinda that he has to support his son, but I don’t understand thinking. The company that he keeps is so bad, I don’t know what they teach him. His own career is ruined.”
