Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor celebrate their last Diwali at Vastu before moving into Rs 250 crore Krishna Raj bungalow | Bollywood News

Alia Bhatt has shared a glimpse of her cosy Diwali celebration with husband and actor Ranbir Kapoordaughter Raha, and their close friends. This marks Alia and Ranbir’s last Diwali at their current residence, Vastu, in Mumbai’s Pali Hill. The couple will soon move into their newly constructed six-storey bungalow, named Krishna Rajin the same area.

Alia posted several photos from their Diwali celebrations. The first picture shows Alia and Ranbir dressed in festive attire, posing together. Ranbir wore a white kurta-pyjama for the occasion, while Alia opted for a pink top paired with a green skirt inspired by a saree. She kept her makeup minimal and completed her look with jewellery and a gajra. The following photos captured heartwarming festive moments — Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji also joined the couple for the celebrations. Raha was seen adorably colouring diyas in one of the pictures, though Alia refrained from revealing her face.

This Diwali was extra special for Alia and Ranbir as it was their last one in Vastu. The couple is set to move into their new bungalow, reportedly valued at a staggering Rs 250 crore. However, their current residence will always hold sentimental value, as it’s where they tied the knot.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s home wedding was warm, personal, and trendsetting. The couple opted for an intimate ceremony attended only by close friends and family before stepping out to greet the paparazzi as newlyweds. They also brought their daughter Raha home here a few months after the wedding.

During her recent appearance on Too Much With Twinkle and Kajol, Alia Bhatt opened up about their decision to get married at home. “We are home bodies, very socially awkward. We just wanted the closest people in our lives with us. I did not want to be attending to people at our wedding. We said we’ll go on vacation to those places instead. So, we chose to get married at home and keep it super chill,” she said.
