Alia Bhatt recently took time off from work to attend the birthday celebration of her close friend Akansha Ranjan in Alibaug. Many pictures and videos of the poolside party were shared on social media. Netizens, however, wondered why Alia’s husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor, skipped the fun.
Akansha’s sister, Anushka Ranjan, took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos from Alibaug, captioning the post “Birthday love.” In some of the pictures, Alia is seen sporting a vibrant kaftan, while in others she stunned in a white monokini.
Akansha Ranjan also posted a bunch of pictures and videos, and captioned it, “the year where all the pieces are finally coming together.” The caption suggested that the childhood friends’ group managed to take time off and reunite for this year’s celebration.

Before travelling to Alibaug, Alia Bhatt was spotted at the special screening of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, directed by Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. The Jigra actor stood out in a rare Gucci archival piece, an iconic Tom Ford design from 1996.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Alia has several projects lined up, including Alpha from the YRF Spy Universe. She is also currently filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic romance Love & War, where she stars opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
