Many filmmakers and actors have often spoken about Akshay Kumar’s unparalleled work ethicand recently, choreographer Chinni Prakash echoed similar sentiments. The veteran choreographer praised Akshay’s discipline and shared how the actor didn’t hesitate even once when over 100 eggs were thrown at him during a scene.
Speaking on the YouTube channel Friday Talkies, Chinni said, “Akshay is a very sincere boy, and he gives his 100 percent. In the 25–50 songs that I have shot with him, he had never asked to change any step. In one scene of Khiladi film’s song, we had 100 eggs hitting Akshay. Girls had to throw eggs on Akshay and it pains when an egg hits you, but after that, the smell is worse, it doesn’t leave you for a long time. Despite all of this, Akshay did not say a word. He is very hard-working and has no tantrums. He is very down-to-earth. I have never seen a hard-working actor than him, and he is very dedicated.”
Chinni Prakash, who recently worked with Akshay on the Housefull film series, said the actor has retained the same attitude even today. “He has the same attitude even 20 years later. I recently did Housefull with him and he shows the same dedication. He can do anything for you. You tell him to jump from a 10th floor building and he will do it.”
Recalling another fond memory, Chinni spoke about shooting the chartbuster song “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast” from the 1994 film Mohra. He said, “When I first heard the song, I thought it is a ghazal. It is such a slow song. Akshay said it will be a hit. We shot that song only at night because no actor had dates. I also didn’t have dates, neither did Akshay nor Raveena. We shot the song with 3 cameras in 3 nights, and everybody would perform half sleep.”
