Purnea MP Pappu Yadav bats for Congress again, says BJP and Chirag Paswan plotting to oust Nitish Kumar. India News

Patna: With less than two weeks left for the Bihar Assembly elections, independent MP from Purnea Pappu Yadav has come forth backing the Congress again. He said the BJP and LJP (Ram Vilas)  are looking to sideline Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and that he would get the respect he deserves only from the Congress.

He said, “The way BJP and Chirag Paswan have isolated Nitish Kumar to maintain their strike rate, I don’t think Nitish Kumar will remain in the NDA after the elections. Only Congress will give Nitish Kumar the respect he deserves.”

Pappu Yadav praises Rahul Gandhi, Congress

Pappu Yadav on Monday had said that people from backward classes, Dalit communities and minorities are leaning towards the ideology of Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi.

“Backward classes, Dalits and minorities are aligned with the vision of Rahul Gandhi. They are tired of issues such as unemployment, large-scale migration, and atrocities against women. I have visited so many constituencies… every where people are saying NDA leaders are sleeping at home,” Pappu Yadav told reporters.

Bihar will vote in two phases on November 6 and 11, with counting scheduled for November 14.
