Assam SIR 2026 Voter List: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Saturday released the draft electoral rolls for Assam as part of the ongoing nation-wide Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. The exercise is conducted when the ECI believes the annual “Summary Revision” is not enough to clean the voter rolls.
The names of 10.56 lakh voters have been deleted after the Special Revision of electoral rolls in Assam, where assembly polls would be in less than six months, news agency PTI reported. You can visit the ECI website to check your name in draft voter roll of SIR in Assam.
Here is a step-by-step guide to check your name in draft voter roll of SIR in Assam
Step 1: Visit the ECI Website (https://voters.eci.gov.in/download-eroll?) and select Assam in the drop-down menu of states.
Step 2: Once you have selected your state, several other drop down menus will appear, listing Year Of Revision, Roll Type, District, and Assembly Constituency. You will also be given options to choose the language in which you want to access the electoral data. Choose the options in the tables that are relevant to you.
You may also search for your name on https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/ using your EPIC Number.
Step 3: Once you have filled in the relevant information in Step 2, you will be presented with a list of PDFs, labelled by taluka names, village names, or polling booth and part numbers.
