North India Weather Forecast Today LIVE Updates: Delhi woke up to a thick layer of toxic smog on Saturday morning, significantly impairing visibility and causing discomfort to residents. The city’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 384 at 8 am, placing it in the ‘very poor’ category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). This marked a deterioration from Friday, when the AQI was recorded at 374.

Airport Advisory: Indira Gandhi International Airport issued a passenger advisory on Saturday as dense fog continued to blanket the capital. The airport said low visibility procedures were still in progress, but flight operations were functioning normally. On Friday, fog disrupted operations, leading to the cancellation of at least 177 flights, including some international services, and delays to nearly 500 flights, according to data from Flightradar24.com. Both Air India and IndiGo issued travel advisories, urging passengers to remain patient as services gradually returned to normal.
