BSF apprehends Pakistani national for crossing border in Jammu’s R S Pura Sector

Sources added that BSF troops initially warned the Pakistani national and also fired two to three rounds to dissuade him from crossing the border.


The Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended a Pakistani national in R S Pura Sector in Jammu and Kashmir’s Jammu district Sunday night after he crossed the international border from the Pakistan side.

Official sources said the man has been identified as Pakistani national Siraj Khan, 29, and that Rs 30 in Pakistani currency were seized from him.

Sources added that BSF troops initially warned the Pakistani national and also fired two to three rounds to dissuade him from crossing the border.

They said the man is being questioned to find the reason for his crossing the border.
