Bank branches across Indian cities may close on these holidays, disrupting customer transactions and services. Customers should check the holiday calendar and plan their visits accordingly.

There are a total of 11 official bank holidaysdesignated for November 2025, under the RBI Negotiable Instruments Act, including RTGS holidays and other regional and national holidays, in addition to the mandatory weekly days off on the second Saturday and Sunday of each month.

Most banks across India will remain open on Thursday, November 6, 2025. However, customers in Patna and Shillong should note that banks in both cities will be closed today due to local holidays. Banking services in all other regions will operate as usual.
