Kritika Kamra recently made her relationship Instagram official with cricket host and content producer Gaurav Kapur. This marks a new beginning for Kritika, but fans of the actor were quickly reminded of the time when she was in a much-talked-about relationship with her debut show Kitani Mohabbat Hai co-star Karan Kundrra. Their chemistry on the show was loved by fans, and their off-screen romance quickly became the talk of the town.

Kitani Mohabbat Hai began airing in 2009, and the couple started dating soon after the show’s premiere. They dated for a few years, but due to their busy schedules, they grew apart and eventually parted ways around 2012. In an old interaction with the Times of India, Kritika opened up about their breakup and revealed the reason behind their split.
She said, “There is no definite reason for my split with Karan. There was no fight. Both of us got very busy with our new shows and this took a toll on our relationship. It is really sad that we couldn’t take care of our relationship. There was an emotional attachment; we were together 24/7, but he never proposed to me and I am glad he didn’t.”

Kritika admitted that she and Karan never spoke about marriage, but there was no conversation about them breaking up either. “It was never like… ‘Oh, it is over’. Today, we still have a comfort level and we can talk about anything. If there is anything new we do, any advice one of us needs, we call each other first,” she said.
After her relationship with Karan, Kritika was rumoured to be dating Uday Singh Gauri, the CEO of talent management company Exceed Entertainment. However, she kept her personal life private after her much-publicised breakup with Karan.
Karan Kundrra moved on after break-up with Kritika Kamra
After his breakup with Kritika, Karan started dating VJ Anusha Dandekar. The couple was in a relationship for more than three years; however, they had a very public breakup. Anusha, in her Instagram post, accused her ex of cheating on her. Karan later responded to Anusha’s claims and called her a “cruel elite woman” who doesn’t take accountability for her words.
After his difficult breakup with Anusha, Karan fell in love with fellow Bigg Boss 15 contestant Tejasswi Prakash. The couple have been together for four years and are still going strong.

Who is Gaurav Kapur?
Gaurav, who began his career as a VJ in Channel V, is well known to Indian cricket fans. He has been a cricket show host for a few years now, and is well known for his YouTube show Breakfast with Champions.

Before his relationship with Kritika, Gaurav was married to actor and travel show host Kirat Bhattal for seven years. Gaurav and Kirat tied the knot in 2014 but allegedly parted ways in 2021. The couple quietly divorced, never speaking about their separation publicly or issuing a joint statement.
