Tere Ishk Mein box office collection day 1 early report: Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s much-awaited film Tere Ishk Mein has finally hit theatersand the romantic drama is already showing impressive momentum at the box office. Directed by Anand L Rai, the film has collected Rs 16.50 crore so far—outperforming Dhanush’s other 2025 releases Idly Kadai and Kuberaa.

The film’s opening day numbers are also significantly stronger when compared to Dhanush’s earlier successes. Tere Ishk Mein earned three times more than his 2013 breakout hit Raanjhanaa, which opened at Rs 5.03 crore and went on to collect Rs 93.97 crore lifetime on a budget of Rs 30 crore. In contrast, Tere Ishk Mein has reportedly been made on a much larger budget of Rs 85 crore, making its strong opening all the more crucial.

Released just a week after De De Pyaar De 2, Mastii 4, and 120 Bahadur, Tere Ishk Mein secured over 4,900 shows nationwide. Advance bookings alone contributed Rs 9.26 crore, including block seats, signalling high pre-release excitement.

The film released in both Hindi and Tamil languages, with Dhanush’s massive fan base in Tamil Nadu boosting its numbers further.

At the box office, Tere Ishk Mein is outperforming all major Hindi releases from the past two weeks.

Ajay Devgn’s De De Pyaar De 2 opened at Rs 8.75 crore and has now dropped to Rs 71 lakh on Day 15. Farhan Akhtar’s latest film earned Rs 34 lakh recently. Riteish Deshmukh’s adult comedy Mastii 4 has struggled with just Rs 17 lakh so far.

With strong numbers, positive word of mouth, and an impressive jump over Dhanush’s previous benchmarks, Tere Ishk Mein appears poised for a steady and successful box office run through the weekend.
