This laptop can run for a full week on a single charge | Technology News

Avenir Telecom is producing a range of new laptops under the Energizer brand with the goal of having long battery lives. The Energizer EnergyBook Pro 15, Energizer EnergyBook Pro XL 18, and flagship Energizer EnergyBook Pro Ultra are the three variants that are geared towards productivity. The Pro Ultra has an enormous 192Wh battery and a huge 18-inch screen with a meagre 1920 x 1200 resolution.

The company claims that the battery, which is a 192kWh one, can last up to 28 hours with intense office use, and up to seven days on standby mode.

The laptop features an AMD Ryzen 5 CPU with 512GB SSD of internal storage, and 16GB RAM. They claim that the device has USB-C, USB 3.0 and HDMI ports, an SD card reader, and a headphone jack. Other than the price of $523 (approximately Rs 46,393), not many specifications have been revealed about the device. This is probably the starting price for a smaller model, and more information on the same is awaited from Avenir Telecom.

Previously, the firm had introduced the Hard Case P28K, a smartphone integrated with an impressive 28,000mAh battery, designed for extended use — offering up to 122 hours of talk time and nearly 94 days on standby. The device has a rugged IP69 rating, making it suitable for outdoor adventures. However, its bulkiness is notable – weighing 570 grams and measuring at a thickness of 27.8mm – significantly more than an iPhone 15.

It supports fast charging at 33W and can be fully charged in under 90 minutes. The specifications include a MediaTek MT6789 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, three rear cameras, a 6.78-inch 1080p LCD, and Android 14. Set to retail at €249.99 (Rs 25,885) in October, the phone will be available globally but not in the US.
