Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt have been dating for quite some time now and last year, Aamir announced his relationship to the world. The couple is ready to take the next step in their relationship and has decided to move in together. In a recent interaction, Aamir admitted that they are shifting to a swanky new home in Mumbai. However, reports state that the actor will continue to live close to where the rest of his family resides.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Aamir said, “This is happening right in the middle of my production Happy Patel being released. So, it’s madness.” Aamir, however, made it clear that there is no immediate plan to get married to Gauri. He said, “Gauri and I are really serious about each other and we are in a very committed space. And we are, you know, we are partners. We are together. Marriage is something, I mean, in my heart, I’m already married to her. So whether we formalise it or not is something that, you know, I will decide as we go along.”

For the unversed, Aamir was first married to Reena Dutta. Aamir was 21 years old at the time of his first marriage in 1986. The couple became parents to two children – daughter Ira Khan and son Junaid Khan. However, their marriage did not last, and they parted ways in 2002 after 16 years of marriage. He then married Kiran Rao in 2005. The couple welcomed a son, Azad Rao Khan, through surrogacy. Aamir’s second marriage also didn’t last and ended in divorce in 2021. Despite this, Aamir has maintained cordial relationships with both Reena and Kiran, and they are often seen together during festivals and family get-togethers.
Aamir confirmed his relationship with Gauri around his 60th birthday in early 2025. During a press meet on his birthday, he revealed that he first met Gauri 25 years ago and later reconnected with her through his cousin, Nuzhat Khan. “I’ve been fortunate to be in a strong relationship. Like, Reena and I spent 16 years together, and then Kiran and I spent 16 years together, and in many ways we are still together. I’ve learnt so much, and it’s been very enriching. With Gauri, I feel settled,” he said.
Earlier, during a conversation on the chat show Too Much With Twinkle and Kajol, Aamir also spoke about his commitment to Gauri. “When you are committed to a relationship then Marriage is done by signing the paper. If you are really connected with the person, sometimes it’s like marriage. Like Gauri and I are together, we are very highly committed to each other,” he said.
