Varun Dhawan says he won’t reveal daughter Lara’s face on social media: ‘I’d rather leave that decision with…’ | Bollywood News

Varun Dhawan welcomed his first child, daughter Lara Dhawan, with wife Natasha Dalalin June 2024. The actor revealed his baby girl’s name on the show Kaun Banega Crorepati. However, he has never revealed her face on social media. In a recent interaction on X, Varun was asked if he was going to introduce Lara to the world on social media, and the actor clearly said that the decision to reveal her face rests with his daughter.

During the AMA session, Varun said, “I would rather leave that decision with her. Social media should be her choice, not something I want to decide for her (sic).”

Last year on Diwali, Varun Dhawan had shared a special post, with an adorable picture of his daughter, Lara, but he hid her face from the post. He later deleted that picture. In the glimpse, both of them were seen praying, but Lara’s face was not visible. Natasha Dalal and Varun Dhawan got married in 2021 and were blessed with Lara in 2024.

In the AMA session, Varun chatted with his fans and followers about several other things, including his upcoming film Border 2 and his last movie Sunny Culture To Tulsi Kumari. A fan asked Varun, “How did you prepare for Border 2? How much did you work out to play a real-life war hero?” He replied, “I prepared a lot. I, in fact, injured my tailbone while shooting the Battle of Basantar. I shot 40 days in Grandma for that with real soldiers.

The actor also addressed a question about his last release, Sunny Culture To Tulsi Kumari. “Bhai aren’t u serious about your comeback? Stop doing pathetic movies like SSKTK in the name of versatility,” the tweet read. He replied, “Hello film then be chal gaye some. App theatre Jata Rehna mein (The film did work a little bit. You please continue going to the theatre) #border 2 might surprise u since ur taste is amazing.”

Varun Dhawan will next be seen in Border 2, alongside Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Oh Shetty. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is set to hit the theatres on January 23.
